Fitzgerald's Irish Turf
The exclusive US importer of Irish turf (peat) fuel, Fitzgerald's Traditional Irish Turf found a match in Fresh Cut Grass. FIT needed a marketing partner to build brand awareness and educate the US consumer in the use of peat as fuel for home fires. The first logical market to reach out to was Irish Americans who have a connection with the "auld sod." St. Patrick's day was a few short weeks away and we started with a push to the media and celebrants of St. Pat's Day in Boston. Quickly and for relatively little cost, Fresh Cut Grass created banners, a raffle, tent cards for pubs and special promotional boxes for select media outlets. The result? Increased awareness and a targeted mailing list of over 500 names and email addresses.
